The most popular things to do in TC (in no particular order) are:


  1. •Walk or jog on the 3.5 mile white sand beach

  2. •Look for shells

• Go to the CoCo Beach Bar for Lunch (10 min. walk)

  1. •Swim or sunbathe (170 feet from SurfSong)

  2. •Go on a snorkel or dive trip (trips leave from the Marina, check at the dive shop)

  3. •Go to the Tipsy Sea Gull bar at the Marina and enjoy the music, dancing and local color (live entertainment on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, Thursday night is Pizza Night and usually draws a crowd.)

  4. •Play Golf

  5. •Play Tennis

  6. •Take photos of the ever changing sky, sand and water

  7. •Take the Ferry to Great Guana and go to Nippers for the pig roast on Sunday (ferry leaves from the Marina, plan to spend 4 to 6 hours.)

  8. •Go Deep Sea fishing (check at the Marina for a charter)

  9. •Go for the day with Lincoln and Marcus Jones on a Bahamian fishing, diving, picnic/adventure. (Call for a reservation. You will need to take a taxi to the GTC Ferry where he will pick you up.)

  10. •Take the GTC Ferry to Green Turtle and spend the day exploring and shelling

  11. •Experience waking up at dawn in “SurfSong” with the sound of the breeze rustling the palm trees and the soothing melody of the surf caressing the sugar sand beach.

  12. •Read a book.

  13. •Do nothing.


For those who want to experience some of the unique wonders of Abaco on their own

  1. • Swim in the Blue Hole north of Treasure Cay

  2. •Go birding and look for the rare Abaco Parrot in its habitat south of Marsh Harbor

  3. •Hike the Bahamas National Park

  4. •Wade and fish some of the nearby bone fish flats

  5. •Catch the ferry to Hope Town from Marsh Harbor and explore Elbow Cay.

  6. •Rent a boat at the marina for Out Island Hopping.  Go fishing, diving or beachcomb for sea shells on a remote beach on your own schedule.

  7. •Rent kayaks from the dive shop and explore Gun Powder Creek (dive shop)
